If you’re looking to add some gravity-defying thrills to your Vegas itinerary, you’ve likely narrowed it down to the two heavy hitters: Fly LINQ on the Strip and SlotZilla downtown. Both offer an incredible rush, but the vibes, views, and prices are worlds apart.
At LAS Discounts, we’ve broken down the "tale of the tape" to help you decide where to spend your vacation dollars.

Fly LINQ: The Budget-Friendly Strip Thrill
Fly LINQ is the only zipline on the Las Vegas Strip. You’ll launch from a 12-story tower and soar over the crowds at the LINQ Promenade, finishing right at the base of the High Roller.
The Vibe: Modern, clean, and right in the heart of the action. It feels more like a sleek theme park ride.
The View: You get a great look at the High Roller and the promenade shops, though you’re mostly looking at the rooftops of the LINQ's restaurants.
The Cost: This is consistently the cheaper option. If you are looking for a quick thrill for under $40, this is your winner.
SlotZilla: The Ultimate Neon Experience
Located at the Fremont Street Experience, SlotZilla is an 11-story, slot-machine-themed tower. It offers two distinct tiers: the lower "Zipline" (seated) and the upper "Zoomline" (superhero style).
The Vibe: Pure, classic Vegas. You fly directly under the massive Viva Vision canopy, soaring over the neon lights and the bustling street performers of downtown.
The View: Unbeatable. Flying through the neon glow of the Golden Nugget and Binion’s is a quintessential Vegas memory.
The Cost: It’s more expensive, especially for the Zoomline, but the experience is significantly longer (five blocks versus the LINQ's roughly two-block equivalent).
Insider Tips for Your Flight
Go at Night: Both rides are fun during the day, but they are spectacular at night. If you’re doing SlotZilla, try to time your flight with a Viva Vision light show for the ultimate sensory overload.
Check for Bundles: SlotZilla often offers a "Zoomline + Mob Museum" bundle for around $83, which is a great way to save if you plan on visiting both.
Early Bird Discounts: Keep an eye out for "All You Can Fly" specials or weekday matinee discounts (usually before 5 PM) that can shave $10 off your ticket.
The "Superhero" Edge: If you have the choice, pay the extra few dollars for the Superhero (lay-down) position. It is far more immersive and makes for a much better "flying" sensation than the seated version.
The Verdict: If you’re on a budget and want to stay on the Strip, Fly LINQ is a solid value. However, if you want the "best" overall experience with the most iconic views, SlotZilla’s Zoomline is worth the extra cash every single time.
