1. Experience the Wildlife Habitat for Free Hidden right in the center of the resort is a lush, 15 acre tropical paradise. The Flamingo Wildlife Habitat is home to a beautiful flock of Chilean flamingos, exotic birds, turtles, and koi fish. It is completely free to enter and wander through the winding paths. This makes it one of the absolute best complimentary daytime activities on the entire Strip, giving you a quiet escape from the casino noise without spending a dime.

2. Hit The Count Room Early You do not have to pay full price to enjoy a high end steakhouse experience. Bugsy & Meyer's Steakhouse features a hidden, speakeasy style bar called The Count Room. While the venue does not actually run a formalized happy hour, the lounge opens Thursday through Saturday at 4:30 PM. Arriving during this early 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM window is the best time to easily secure a seat for craft cocktails and upscale bar bites. It is a fantastic way to enjoy a luxurious, prohibition era atmosphere without committing to the massive dinner bill.   

3. Time Your GO Pool Entry The Flamingo GO Pool is famous for being one of the wildest and most popular daytime parties in Las Vegas. While cover charges can be extremely high for visitors, guests staying at the hotel usually receive complimentary entry if they arrive before a designated time in the morning. Be sure to check the exact pool schedule when you check in so you can grab a spot early and bypass the hefty admission fees.

4. Utilize the On Site Monorail Station Because the Flamingo sits at one of the busiest intersections in Las Vegas, taking a taxi or rideshare can take a lot of time and money due to traffic. Thankfully, the resort has its very own Las Vegas Monorail station located right near the back of the property. Grabbing a multi day pass allows you to skip the gridlock and travel up and down the Strip in air conditioned comfort for a fraction of the cost.

5. Book the Renovated Flamingo Rooms If you want the feel of a brand new resort without the center Strip price tag, pay close attention to the room categories when booking. Make sure you specifically select the "Flamingo Rooms" rather than the older options. These recently upgraded rooms feature a sleek, retro chic design with hardwood floors and modern bathrooms, offering incredible luxury on a budget.
