Boyd's Holiday Savings Window Opens Nov1: Off-Strip Rates Before December Pricing

The Strip's December pricing is coming whether you like it or not. Boyd Gaming's answer opens this Saturday, November 1: the "Celebrate Holiday Savings" promotion, valid for stays from November 1 through December 29, 2026, at three valley properties — Gold Coast, California Hotel & Casino, and Aliante . If your holiday trip is flexible, this is the off-Strip window to look at first.

The Three Properties

• Gold Coast Hotel & Casino, 4000 W Flamingo Road — just west of the Strip, the classic locals' casino with a bowling center and a big bingo room.

• California Hotel & Casino, 12 E Ogden Avenue downtown — a Fremont Street-area stay with a loyal Hawaii following and some of the best low-limit table games downtown.

• Aliante Casino + Hotel + Spa, 7300 N Aliante Parkway in North Las Vegas — the newest and quietest of the three, with a spa and a movie theater, good for a family trip that doesn't need the Strip at all.

The Fine Print (Read It Before You Book)

• Stays Nov 1–Dec 29, 2026. That's the window — and it ends before New Year's Eve, so don't stretch it into the holiday itself.

• Availability and blackouts. The offer is based on availability and blackout dates may apply. Holiday weekends inside the window are the likeliest blackouts.

• Rate excludes the extras. The nightly rate does not include room tax, hotel service fees, optional incidentals or regulatory surcharges. Compare the all-in total, not the headline rate — the same rule as every Vegas deal.

• Booking rules. Advance reservations required, new online reservations only, can't combine with other offers or group bookings, and cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before arrival. A $100 security deposit and valid photo ID are required at check-in; guests must be 21+.

Why This Window Matters

December on the Strip is the most expensive month that isn't New Year's week, and the Boyd window covers almost all of it — without the Strip's December pricing. The trade-off is honest: you're off-Strip or downtown, not center-Strip. For a holiday trip where the room is a base camp and the budget goes to shows, meals and gifts, that's the right trade. Book early in the window, check the blackout dates for your exact nights, and compare the all-in total against a Strip stay before you commit.
