Oktoberfest at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas: The Insider Guide (Through Oct 31)

You do not need a plane ticket to Munich for Oktoberfest. You need a ride to Paradise Road.
Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas — the replica of Munich's famous beer hall at 4510 Paradise Road — is running its 22nd annual Oktoberfest now through October 31.
Same Oktoberfestbier served in the Munich tents, live oompah band, communal tables, and people dancing on benches by 8pm. Here is how to do it right.
The Deal
General admission is free. Walk in, grab a table, and you only pay for what you eat and drink. There is a VIP ticket (from $102.40) that gets you prime main-hall seating plus a food-and-beverage credit — nice, but optional. The beer tastes the same from a regular table.
A realistic night for two: two big steins, a pretzel to share, and two entrées runs roughly $60 to $80. Compare that to dinner and drinks for two on the Strip, and you are saving $50 or more before the night even gets going.
When To Go
The festival runs September 11 through October 31, but the big nights are Fridays and Saturdays, 6–11pm, when a local celebrity taps the ceremonial keg.
Remaining 2026 tappers:
Fri Oct 16 — magician David Goldrake
Sat Oct 17 — BMX athlete Ricardo Laguna
Fri Oct 23 — comedian Mario Adrion
Sat Oct 24 — The Conjurors
Fri Oct 30 — Olympic skater Oksana Baiul
Sat Oct 31 — the cast of SEXXY (Halloween night)
Here is the insider move: go on a weeknight instead. The Biermeister Band plays Sunday through Thursday, 5–10pm. Same beer, same music, same food — a fraction of the crowd, no reservation stress, and easy parking. Friday and Saturday are the party; Tuesday is the smart play.
Insider Tips
Park free. Hofbräuhaus has its own private lot — no $25 Strip garage, no circling. It is off-Strip on Paradise Road, which also means a cheaper rideshare than anything in the resort corridor.
Reserve for weekends, walk in on weeknights. Reservations are strongly encouraged for Friday and Saturday keg-tapping nights — call 702-853-2337 or book on their site. On a Tuesday night you can usually just walk in.
Eat the daily special. The kitchen runs a rotating Oktoberfest menu — a different featured dish every day. Friday is the Roulade and crispy pork shank (Schweinshaxe); Saturday is Schweinshaxe day; Sunday brings the Schmankerl Tower of Bavarian meats. Ask your server what today is — it is always the best value on the menu.
Share everything. Portions are Bavarian-sized. The giant pretzel is a legitimate appetizer for the table, and most entrées could feed someone who skipped lunch.
Enter the stein-holding contest. It is free, it is hilarious, and holding a full liter stein at arm's length is harder than every guy at your table thinks it is. Nightly games and sing-alongs cost nothing to join.
Drink the Oktoberfestbier while it exists. Hofbräuhaus is the only place in Las Vegas pouring the official Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier imported from Munich — and it is seasonal. When October 31 passes, it is gone until next year. The regular lager, hefeweizen, and dunkel are there year-round.
Bring the family. Unlike most Vegas nightlife, this is all ages — kids are welcome, and the afternoon band sets (MC Johann does Saturday 1–5pm and Sunday noon–4pm) are genuinely family-friendly. A loud, fun, affordable family outing on the cheap side of town.
Skip the dirndl rental panic. Nobody cares what you wear. Lederhosen and dirndls are welcome and fun, but jeans are completely fine.
The Bottom Line
Oktoberfest at Hofbräuhaus is one of the best value nights out in Las Vegas: free entry, free parking, free live music, honest beer-hall food, and the only real Munich Oktoberfestbier in town. Go on a weeknight, eat the daily special, enter the stein contest, and thank us later.
Through October 31 at 4510 Paradise Road. Prost.
